Dating advisory service

In addition to our well-established dendrochronology service, we also offer professional advice on a range of other dating methods. This advisory service is provided by Professor Mike Walker, who has many years’ experience at both national and international level, specifically in the field of radiocarbon dating. He has published extensively on applied aspects of radiocarbon dating in both archaeological and environmental contexts, and is past Chair of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Radiocarbon Facilities Steering Committee, the NERC AMS Strategy Group and the NERC Cosmogenic Isotope Analysis Facility Steering Committee.
