This guide aims to help you to find the information that we make available under our publication scheme.
1) Who we are and what we do
We make the following information available about who we are and what we do:
- Details of the structure of our Faculties
- Details of the structure and work of each department and service, and the names and responsibilities of key personnel can be found on their respective web pages
- Descriptions of our boards and committees, their terms of reference and their membership can be found in the Academic Quality Handbook
- Our locations
- Our contact details. Additional contacts can also be found under Departments on the University website
- Information about the operation and activities of the university alumni
- Information about student activities
2) What we spend and how we spend
We make the following information available about what we spend and how we spend it:
- Information about our sources of funding and income, which can be found in our financial statement
- Budgetary and account information, which can be found in our financial statement.
3) What our priorities are and how we are doing
We make the following information available about what our priorities are and how we are doing:
- Our strategic vision for the creation of a new regional educational group structure.
- Our Learning and Teaching Strategy.
- Our Information Services Strategy.
- Information on our internal procedures for assuring academic quality and standards and qualitative data on the quality and standards of learning and teaching is available in our Quality Assurance Handbook.
- Information about our annual monitoring and review process together with details of the roles, responsibilities and authority of those within the University involved in programme approval and review.
- Information about employability and employer engagement at the University. Additional information about the University’s links with employers and the development of learning programmes can be found on the Work-based Learning section of the University website, and information about Go Wales can be found on the Career Services web page for Carmarthen campus.
- Outcomes of the National Student Survey and our own internal surveys

- A register of interests of Council members is kept in hard copy and is available from the Clerk of the Governors

- Undergraduate and postgraduate prospectuses
- Information about course content can be found via our postgraduate A- Z courses or our undergraduate A-Z courses. Information about all courses is also available from the courses section of the University website.
- Information about our student support services for the Carmarthen campus and the Lampeter campus
- Information about our Student Health Centre for the Lampeter campus
- Information about our Careers Advisory Service for the Carmarthen campus and Lampeter campus.
- Information about our sports and recreational facilities for the Carmarthen campus and the Lampeter campus
- Information about internal and external services for which we are entitled to recover a fee, together with those fees, including:
