Contractual relationship with College of Technology London ends
On 16 November 2011, the contract between University of Wales: Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) and the College of Technology London (CTL) was terminated. Since that time, the University’s priority has been to work to protect the interests of students enrolled at CTL who are registered to receive University of Wales awards.
Since 16 November 2011 no new students have been, or will be, accepted on to University programmes associated with this Private College.
The University has provided ongoing support for students registered on UWTSD programmes, including putting in place mechanisms to assist the transfer of students from CTL to alternative UWTSD facilities in order to enable them to complete their courses.
Now that systems are in place to assist student transfers, the University does not consider that it has any further contractual relationship with CTL. All operational links will be ended once the February Exam Boards have met to consider the outcome of the January assessments. This process will be concluded by 29th February 2012.
The University of Wales: Trinity Saint David is taking legal advice in relation to possible claims against CTL.
