The provision of an attractive portfolio of courses will enable the University to recruit a growing number of international students onto academic programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. In addition, the successful Study Abroad Programme established with partner institutions in North America will continue to a attract a substantial number of students who either study on an exchange of full fee paying bases.

Research staff regularly publish their work in international titles and their reputation ensures that the University attracts international students to undertake a range of research degrees.

Academic schools and departments at the campuses in Carmarthen and Lampeter have also developed curriculum based partnerships, through such initiatives as the European Union’s Erasmus programme which provides opportunities for student and staff exchange visits.

On a strategic level the University will develop opportunities for inward investment to the campus infrastructure from partners in key regions around the world and is already investigating the feasibility of establishing a University presence within other countries.
