Legal and Academic Consultations:
I have been acting on various occasions as an expert witness in Islamic law in cases involving the Pakistani community in the British courts. Also submitted expert evidence on Islamic family law to legal firms on cases involving the Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities.
Since 1991 I have been acting as an advisor and contributor in Islam to the Alliance of Religion and Conservation Organization (ARC) which is founded by His Royal Highness the Prince Philip.
Expert Advisor to Manchester metropolitan police in Matters relevant to Islamic Law.
I have attended a very large number of conferences within my areas of interest in Islamic Studies including Islamic law, the environment and Arabic Language.
