Job Title

Lecturer in Education Studies

Role in the University

Jean lectures on a range of areas within the Education Studies and Social Inclusion Programme. She has a particular interest in the Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural aspect of the Programme and the International Perspectives on Social Inclusion. She assists with the co-ordination of the Foundation Degree Programme in Inclusive Studies for Teaching Assistants.

Jean brings great experience to the Schools programmes. She is the Diocesan Schools Officer for St David’s and is very interested in the Distinctiveness of Church Schools. Jean is also a College Mentor for the PGCE Religious Education Programme.

Her outside interests also bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, for example Jean is very involved in Community Projects and is the Chernobyl Childrens Project Co-ordinator for Carmarthen.
