Academic Interests
Current research interests:
The ways in which people draw upon historically-rooted culturally-based understandings as resources for making sense of the world.
The power of social and physical locales to constrain and facilitate the ways in which people are able to engage with education and imagine futures in education and work.
The experiences and needs of migrants in rural and urban locales in Wales and those of native Welsh residents in these locales.
How embodied knowledge and skills impact upon identity formation.
“I particularly enjoy the interactive nature of psychology sessions at Trinity. The lively discussions and debates enhance the teaching and learning experiences of those taking part.”
