Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Education and Training and Head of School of Social Justice and Inclusion.
Sue is the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Education and Training, supporting the work of the Dean on issues relating to the work of the Faculty in areas such as Research and External Activity, Learning and Teaching, Collaborative Activity, Community engagement and Quality Enhancement.
As Head of School, Sue oversees all the work of the School of Social Justice and Inclusion, which is innovative, dynamic and responsive to external needs.
In addition, Sue is the Founder of the Centre for Special Education in the National University of Lesotho in Southern Africa. Sue has been an External Examiner for a number of Foundation Degree programmes at Huddersfied University, University of Plymouth and Bath Spa University and the University of Worcester; and has acted as external validator for academic programmes at Lincoln, Leicester and Worcester.
With a background in social policy and inclusion, Sue has been a consultant in the development of an Inclusion Quality Mark for Schools and the Inclusion Standards Toolkit. She is a Senior Assessor for the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status for the Welsh Government (WG). Sue sits on several focus groups in the fields of Special Educational Needs, Workforce Development and Higher Education Providers.
