Job Title

Lecturer in Youth and Community Work

Role in the University

An experienced and qualified Youth Worker with expertise in a variety of Youth Work methods including outreach and detached methods and also issue based Youth Work. Alana has expereince of working for statutory and voluntary youth work organisations and is using her expertise and experience in this area to further develop the existing BA Youth & Community Work Programme.

Alana is also drawing on her Welsh medium Youth Work expereince to benefit the understanding of students and also the delivery of the programme. In addition, Alana contributes to the delivery of Social Inclusion and Education Studies modules for undergraduate students within the School.
