The Foundation Degree in Inclusive Studies is a 3 year part time course designed specifically for those professionals who are working to support children and young people in a variety of educational settings and to respond to the changing and challenging needs within our schools.
The programme caters for learners from a diverse range of backgrounds to learn within a supportive and flexible framework. The programme supports work-based learning and acknowledges Reflective Practice. We appreciate the wealth of knowledge that students have when they enrol on this course, and the enthusiastic team of staff who deliver the modules, ensure that there are ample opportunities for students to increase in confidence and self-esteem, as well as developing new skills.
Modules are delivered in a variety of ways including Saturday and twilight sessions. We also provide off-campus tutorials in order to support students. The degree will include modules delivered through the medium of Welsh and bilingually, and students have the opportunity to present their work in either English or Welsh.
