Background

For the past three years I have been teaching Welsh for Adults at Bridgend College, and previously spent over three years as a Development Officer and National Publicity Officer with Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin. My main responsibility is running a Welsh book shop - Siop yr Hen Bont in Bridgend, which gives me an opportunity to review Welsh and bilingual resources for early years.
I enjoy seeing the Geiriau Bach students confidence develop whilst introducing Welsh into everyday situations. The practical element of the course is effective whilst providing appropriate and worthwhile experiences for early years practitioners – and it’s great fun!
