Geiriau Bach Play Workshops

Outdoor workshops are regularly held with students for learning about nature through activities.

Creating group landscape sculptures from riverside flotsam and jetsam, using skills of creativity, problem solving and working as a team. An opportunity also to use Welsh vocabulary and songs to link to this type of outdoor task.

Learning the nature game of 'sky eyes' at Trysordy resource centre (www.trysordy.org.uk), isolating the sense of sight.

Geiriau Bach also arrange  special days, when Alice Sharpe, an expert in the field of play comes down from Scotland to share a wealth of ideas about ways of fostering creative early years play.  Here are views of two of the students who attended:
