Induction

The school regards this week as an extremely important part of the start of your degree. The induction programme is carefully designed to ensure that you have every opportunity to:

1. meet with new fellow students
2. meet staff members
3. familiarise yourself with the campus
4. familiarise yourself with your lecture rooms
5. understand your timetable.

The school offers a warm welcome and runs a lively and memorable induction programme during the first week. As staff, we try to ensure that you are involved in all our planned activities so that you get a sense of belonging to the school and college life.

Activities involve a number of planned games around the campus, together with an enjoyable and highly active afternoon in Heatherton Park, Pembrokeshire.

By the end of the week, students in the past have found that they are far more confident to start their lectures, which begin the following week and have also found lifelong friends.
