Consultancy and Short Courses
The School of EYE offers a range of consultancy and research services which focus on the needs of those involved in early years provision in the maintained and non-maintained sectors. We have been involved, as expert consultants, in developing quality assurance systems, small and medium scale research projects, and advisors on outdoor play, early years and integrated centre management projects.
We also offer short courses on key areas in early years and Foundation Phase provision:
- Understanding play and planning for play
- Observation for understanding early learning
- Learning through block play
- Learning in the outdoor environment
- Promoting bilingualism through play
- Welsh language in the Foundation Phase
All our services can be offered through the medium of English, Welsh or bilingually.
