Dr Dic Edwards teaches Creative Writing and Writing For The Theatre at undergraduate level and Creative Writing, Writing For The Theatre and Poetry at postgraduate level.Background
Dr Dic Edwards’ research and scholarship relates almost entirely to the field of Theatre. He is a playwright and poet. His first full length play At The End Of The Baywas produced in 1982 and since 1985 he has had a professional production every year somewhere in the UK and latterly in Australia (NIDA, Sydney) and Origin Theatre, New York. He has worked extensively with the TIE companies, Theatr Powys and Spectacle Theatre.
He has also written libretti for three operas. His poems have been published in Poetry Wales and byOberon Press.
