Sacred Ways Network Meeting 2011
The first meeting of the network will be an exploratory workshop taking place in the Founders Library on the Lampeter Campus on September 22nd and 23rd 2011. The workshop will bring a variety of academics whose work has focused on either religion or trade in the ancient world together.

This workshop will involve intimate discussion of the intricacies of religion and economies in the ancient world focusing on such key themes as the relationship between economic factors and cult popularity and/or decline, the influence of different economies and/or official and non-official markets on cult activity and religious belief and the role of differing avenues of networked communication in cult life.
