We're a friendly and forward thinking department with vibrant teaching, continuing business engagement and diverse research interests.
Our programmes include undergraduate degrees in Management, IT, Computing and Tourism. We have postgraduate taught programmes that include a popular MBA programme with a range of 9 specialist pathways such as Marketing, HRM, Information Management, Leadership and Tourism, amongst other subjects.
Our popular research programmes for MPhil and PhD. include subjects such as SMEs and entrepreneurship, business performance (including specialist sectors such as health and tourism), business strategy and regional competitiveness and promoting ICT to female students.
The School currently operates from both the Lampeter and Carmarthen campuses and on both sites is consistently ranked highly in leading surveys of higher education and in the National Student Survey. The emphasis is always on the practical application of skills and knowledge and students from our schemes have an excellent record for employment once they graduate.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of various placement schemes and opportunities for studying abroad are also available.
