Start of Term Arrangements 

The Year 2 BA-BSc Start of Year Arrangements document lets you know where you need to be at certain times during your first week back at University. Please read carefully and contact Registry if you have any queries.

Flexible Learning Route - alternative arrangements have been made for the registration of students studying BA Early Years Education / BA Addysg Blynyddoedd Cynnar via the Flexible Learning Route. The above link to the Start of Term Arrangements is therefore irrelevant. You will have received a letter asking you to attend an earlier registration session. Survival Guide

The Survival Guide is a document that offers all kinds of information about various aspects of University life. An updated hard copy will be handed to you on Registration Day.

Student Finance

For information on all financial aspects, from Payment of Tuition Fees to Bursaries and Scholarships, see Student Finance.

As soon as you are fully registered, the University will inform the Student Loan Company and the first instalment of your loan will be paid into your bank account. This process can take at least 4-5 working days.

Student Declarations

The Enrolment Declaration sets out the terms on which the University accepts you onto a programme. During Registration, you will be asked to confirm that you have read and understood the contents of this document and that you agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.

You will also need to confirm that you accept the terms and conditions regarding the Plagiarism Detection Service used by the University.

Please read both documents ahead of Registration.

Medical Information

It is important that you read the current information and advice available to students regarding Swine Flu, Mumps and Meningitis Outbreak and Immunisation and Meningitis Symptoms in Adults.

Travel Plan

Those of you who wish to bring your own car to University are advised to read the Travel Plan. If you are a residential student, please apply for a parking permit by completing the Application Form for a Car Parking Permit.

The Sports and Fitness Centre

All students can become members of the on-campus Sports and Fitness Centre. There is a Fitness and Sports Centre Promotional Offer available to students who join before 31st October.

Information for the Higher Education Statistical Agency (HESA)

The University will be required to send data about you to the Higher Education Statistical Agency which will in turn pass the data to other organisations that need it to carry out their statutory functions connected with the funding of higher education. Further details are available at HESA Student Collection Notice.

Halliwell

If you will be returning to University early and would like to book a Carvery Lunch at the Halliwell Centre for yourself and your family on Sunday, 23rd September 2012, complete and return The Carvery Lunch Booking Form by 17th September.

Learning Welsh

Students with an interest in learning or improving their Welsh are welcome to enrol on one of our Welsh for Adults courses. There's plenty of choice available at all levels and full time students do not have to pay. Details of the courses and how to enrol can be found on the link below.
