A survey of condition, bindings and provenance.

Between 1834 and 1852 Thomas Phillips gave to Saint David's College, Lampeter several hundred books printed during the sixteenth century. His dontations, together with those of Bishop Thomas Burgess and Thomas Bowdler, made the library at Lampeter during the nineteenth century among the foremost in Wales.

University of Wales Trinity Saint David graduate Emily Badger has produced a preliminary survey of the sixteenth century volumes donated by Thomas Phillips, with a particular focus on bindings, and provenance. The results of the survey are available by clicking the link below.
