CIME Innovation Networks - ‘Join the Social Media Dance'
08.06.2011
CIME Innovation Networks are holding social media events for small business across South West Wales in June. Project Manager Sara Fox, based at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s Lampeter campus says that social media like facebook and twitter, ‘can allow businesses to start useful conversations with established as well as potential customers and help them to develop a better understanding of their customers’ needs.’
Spending time on developing a social media strategy can be worthwhile even for small businesses as it attracts new customers, increases income, gains exposure and grows loyal online communities.
During the sessions in Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, attendees will gain an overview of different types of social media available and which types might be appropriate for small businesses from a variety of sectors.
Allan Blair Beaton from Social BIIB will be delivering the sessions, offering, ‘cracking advice, no-nonsense guidance and the latest thinking in making the most of the social web’
The sessions will be held on Tuesday 28th June at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Wednesday 29th June at The Cambria, Aberystwyth, and Thursday 30th June at St Brides Hotel, Saundersfoot.
