University of Wales Trinity Saint David Celebrates the Dual Sector University with a Fashion Show

To celebrate the Dual Sector University relationship between the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Coleg Sir Gâr the students and local school pupils will hold a fashion show to showcase their talent.

At  2 o'clock, on the University's stand, the young students from Coleg Sir Gâr and local schools will model their own creations. Their lecturer Helen Humphreys will be on hand to MC the event. Hair and beauty students will also participate as they prepare the models on the stand before the show.

The University is leading the way for higher education in Wales as it demonstrates a new model of collaboration between Trinity Saint David and Coleg Sir Gâr, bringing together the strengths of both organisations.

The goal is to create an excellent provision within the field of art, design, film and media in South West Wales.

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is working with Swansea Metropolitan University and the further education colleges of Coleg Sir G­âr, Pembrokeshire College and Coleg Ceredigion to create a dual sector university.

At 4 o'clock, the students will join the Soffa Siarad crew as they broadcast live from the stand. The programme can be viewed via the web. www.tsd.ac.uk/en/soffasiarad
