Mentoring Our Workforce
Staff who feel encouraged to learn and develop their skills are generally happier and more productive at work.
Having trained mentors and mentoring models in your organisation can support individual employee learning and also help you tackle specific organisational challenges, such as:
- succession planning
- career progression
- developing managers of the future
- induction process
- staff retention
What’s involved?
The fully funded, 20 credit module in workplace mentoring covers
- research and review of current best practice in the field of mentoring
- identifying a suitable mentoring model, piloting and reviewing how it worked for the organisation
- an observed mentoring session
Learners need to attend a one day induction on campus.
How much does it cost?
This 20 credit module is fully funded by the project for eligible participants. (See the small print)

“Thanks to Rhianon and the rest of project team for a very enjoyable and informative induction day, it was an excellent start to the module. The workshops were not only a good ice breaker but also provided a valuable insight on mentoring skills and approaches. Good luck to everyone studying.”
