How to Borrow
Borrowing and returning materials
Self-service machines are available in Carmarthen Campus Library and Lampeter Campus Library which can issue and return items. Once you have chosen the items you wish to borrow, take them with your card to the self-service machine, where you will be issued with a receipt showing the date of return.

Book return box
A book returns box is provided at the entrance to Lampeter Campus Library and Carmarthen Campus Library for the return of items during closing times. Please do not use the book returns boxes for material on which a fine is due.
At Carmarthen Campus, the white book returns box is located just inside the automatic doors leading from outside the University to the Library and The Quad. The automatic doors are open at the following times:
Monday - Friday: 5.30am - 10pm (Closed Bank Holidays)
Saturday - Sunday: 9am - 7pm
Outside of these times please call at the Porter's window to ask for the doors to be opened.
