The Carmarthen campus is surrounded by green fields and hills on the outskirts of Carmarthen, a market town and the commercial centre for a large and thriving area. There’s a good choice of big name shops and supermarkets, a cinema and places to eat as well as to socialise in the evenings. Although, perhaps Carmarthen is best known locally for its choice of good home grown quality food, its many art venues and cultural sites, as well as for the many small shops that sell unique goods. From giftware to fashions, it is all within walking distance from the campus.
