About Us

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David

carmarthen campus

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is Wales’ newest university. However we have a long history as our constituent colleges were founded in 1822 (University of Wales Lampeter) and 1848 (Trinity University College).

The University is located on two campuses in South West Wales. Both campuses offer an ideal place to study and to live when you are away from home.  Having teaching facilities, information and library services, accommodation and Students’ Union on one site makes it a safe and welcoming environment for students. The cost of living in Lampeter or Carmarthen is lower that in many parts of the UK. All our students receive individual attention from academic staff; much teaching is done in small groups and staff members are very approachable.

“Everyone is so nice and welcoming and this has meant the most to me. The Students’ Union is great! It’s nice to have a place right on campus where students can go to and hang out.”
