Deal with enquiries and student admissions as well as addressing the pastoral needs of International students located at the Lampeter Campus within the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

Head of School of Art, Film and Media
Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an academic and practitioner of distinction within the fields of Art, Film & Media to provide the strategic leadership and vision necessary to take the work of this new School forward. The successful candidate will have management experience in Higher Education and experience of Higher Education within Further Education. The post is unique in being a joint appointment with the West Wales School of the Arts at Coleg Sir Gar, with the postholder managing activity at both institutions.
The post will involve the bringing together of several teams of staff on a number of campuses and therefore evidence of successful change management is an additional requirement. The successful candidate will be expected to have highly developed interpersonal skills and is expected to keep the School at the forefront of developments within teaching and learning in further and higher education.
This post is tenable from 1 October 2010 and it is expected that the successful appointee will be able to take up the headship on that date or as soon as possible thereafter.
