We can assist you in achieving these goals by bringing your studies to life with our on-line Welsh lessons which are supported by an experienced, professional tutor.

Study at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home.

Our Welsh on-line modules - Multimedia A and Multimedia B each consist of 8 units and an oral assessment. They are designed to give you a basic knowledge and understanding of the Welsh language. Little or no knowledge of the language is presumed at the outset. The modules contain a comprehensive use of multimedia materials, including audio and video files and interactive exercises. Throughout you will be able to listen to a variety of words and dialogues recorded by native Welsh speakers to assist you with pronunciation – wherever you live in the world!

On completion of the two modules you should be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic oral Welsh and be able to communicate in Welsh in a wide range of everyday situations. Multimedia Welsh is an accredited university course and 20 credits are awarded on successful completion of each module. The price for each module is £180. One can take one module only or both to complete the course. Registration will occur three times annually, November, February and June.

The next semester begins on 13 February 2012.

Residential courses to supplement your learning are also available three times a year.

Would you like to improve your service to your Welsh speaking customers?

We can assist you in creating and supporting a bilingual workforce with our on-line Welsh lessons, written and taught by experienced university tutors. Before commencing on our on-line course, if you have 10 members of staff or more wishing to learn Welsh, we can visit your workplace to give you a day course to kick start the process. Our Welsh on-line module - Multimedia A consists of 8 units. It is designed to give you a basic knowledge and understanding of the Welsh language. Little or no knowledge of the language is presumed at the outset. The module contains a comprehensive use of multimedia materials, including audio and video files and interactive exercises. Throughout you will be able to listen to a variety of words and dialogues recorded by native Welsh speakers to assist you with pronunciation. On completion of the module, there is an option to proceed to a further module – Multimedia B.

On completion of the two modules, your staff should be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic oral Welsh and be able to communicate in Welsh in a wide range of everyday situations.

Residential intensive courses to supplement your learning are also available twice a year. A bilingual workforce can give you a marketing advantage over your competitors, help you maintain your present customers and attract new customers.
