The Confucius Institute would like to officially welcome Krystyna Krajewska as General Manager. Krystyna joined us on 15th May 2010. With a background in marketing and advertising which included setting up and running her own marketing business, Krystyna more recently embarked on a new career in teaching and acquired a PGCE through Coleg Ceredigion in 2007. Since then she has been involved in ESOL teaching for the WEA and has worked as EAP (English for Academic Purposes) tutor for Lampeter University. She developed the Business English for Corporate Communication module for the English Department and taught Chinese students both here and in China.
Apart from strengthening the management team of the Confucius Institute Krystyna will be heavily involved in the development and quality assurance of our teaching provision in schools and of the PGCert “Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language” (subject to validation).
