Reaching Wider in South West Wales

Aiming to widen access into higher education across the whole student age range, the South West Wales Reaching Wider Partnership organises learning and aspiration raising activities.

Funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales Reaching Wider Initiative, the partnership includes Swansea University, Swansea Metropolitan University, University of Wales Trinity Saint David, The Open University in Wales, Coleg Sir Gâr, Gower College Swansea, Neath Port-Talbot College, Pembrokeshire College, Careers Wales West and schools in South West Wales. The project aims to extend educational participation to previously excluded and under-represented groups of people in South West Wales.

The activities are mainly aimed towards young people with disability, ethnic minority communities, Welsh medium learners and people living in Communities First areas.
