Letter of thanks from the chair of the EOE
Landscape, Youth and Outdoor Education
On behalf of the European Institute for Outdoor Adventure Education and Experiential Learning I would like to thank Trinity College Carmarthen for hosting the 9th European Conference on the theme Landscape, Youth and Outdoor Education: What are we doing? What should we be doing? The conference was a real success and brought new energy into the network. It was a significant help with the promotion of development of good practices and excellent academic work within the field. The way the conference was organized and facilitated by staff members of the Department of Sport, Health and Outdoor Education was just excellent. The EOE and the conference participants sincerely appreciated the warm welcome, the beautiful historical surroundings, the cultural experience of the Welsh language, dance and costumes, the hosting facilities, the field trips and the very good food that was served.
The European Institute hopes that the collaboration with Trinity College Carmarthen can be further developed.
