Our Old Hall makes a spectacular setting for civil wedding ceremonies and can, along with other sized rooms, be booked for your wedding breakfast or wedding party. Wherever you choose to entertain your guests, you can be assured of a comprehensive and individual service that provides you with the peace of mind to enjoy your special day to the full.
Venues
The Old Hall
Our historic Old Hall, the original dining room of St David’s College, is licensed for civil wedding and partnership ceremonies and can accommodate up to 100 guests. The vaulted ceiling and imposing portraits of past Principals of the University provide a unique setting for your ceremony and, together with the Cloisters, Quadrangle and fountain immediately outside, present excellent photograph opportunities. For wedding breakfasts and dinners, the Old Hall can seat up to 72 guests.
Lloyd Thomas Hall
Lloyd Thomas Hall is the largest venue in Ceredigion and can seat 375 people for weddings, dinners and other functions. The Hall has its own private bar and lounge area, as well as ample parking close at hand.
Private Dining Room
For smaller, more intimate, wedding breakfasts and dinners the Private Dining Room can seat up to 48 people.
Students’ Union
For your evening functions, the Students’ Union club can be booked for a private party. The room has a built-in DJ’s booth and dance floor, and an extensive bar.
Catering
Our Catering Services do not restrict you to set menus or packages but instead offer a personal service to suit your individual requirements. They are happy to discuss menu, drinks and service options, table layout, table and room decoration, or anything else that you require to make your day extra special.
Flowers and Wedding Stationery
Our Catering Services can put you in contact, and help you liaise, with photographers, local florists and the University Print Services to help you add those finishing touches to both your ceremony and parties.
