Catering - Lampeter Campus

Simply Delicious!

The Lampeter campus catering services are open to all staff and students as well as the general public. The 1822 Coffee Shop and Lloyd Thomas Dining Hall offer excellent coffee and hot meals for breakfast and lunch, as well as light snacks and other drinks, and a popular Sunday Carvery.

If you are organising a special event, we can accommodate both small and large groups. Lloyd Thomas Hall is the largest venue in Ceredigion and can seat 375 people for dinners, weddings or other functions, while other rooms offer a more intimate atmosphere for smaller groups. Traditional and vegetarian meals are available in all locations and our dedicated team of catering staff are happy to discuss your individual requirements.

Lloyd Thomas Dining Hall

For special functions, such as weddings, annual dinners, dinner dances, parties or Christmas events, you are welcome to discuss your requirements with our catering team who can help tailor a menu and service to your requirements.

The Old Hall

The Old Hall was the original dining room in St David’s College and it now offers a spectacular setting for dinner for up to 72 people seated, or 100 people for a buffet. Please contact the catering team to discuss a bespoke menu and service.

The Private Dining Room

For smaller parties and functions, the Private Dining Room offers an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. A maximum of 48 people may be seated for dinner, with bespoke menus and a personal service available.

Menus

We do not restrict you to set menus or packages but instead offer a personal service to suit your individual requirements.  We are happy to discuss menu, drinks and service options, table layout, table and room decoration, or anything else that you require to make your event extra special.  Some sample menus from previous functions are provided as an illustration, but please do not feel that you are restricted to these choices.

Our Catering Services have been nominated for a Gold Award in Ceredigion County Council's Food Hygiene Award scheme and a Silver Award in the Curiad Calon Ceredigion award scheme. 

The Curiad Calon award incorporates the principles and criteria of the nationally acclaimed Heartbeat Award and recognises catering establishments which take an active part in providing the highest standards of customer care and catering excellence.  The scheme recognises caterers who exceed the minimum food hygiene standards required by law and who provide a healthier range of food choices.
