Dragon Innovation Partnership

The Dragon Innovation Partnership is a collaboration between Swansea Metropolitan University, Swansea University, and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. It aims to maximise opportunities for transferring knowledge and expertise between the universities and external companies and organisations.

What does the Dragon Innovation Partnership Offer?

The aim of the Dragon Innovation Partnership is to advise you whether there are experts from the three universities with the expertise to meet your needs. When this is established, the Partnership can help develop a comprehensive support package, tailored to your requirements.

In addition, we host free events throughout the year on themes and issues of interest to businesses of Wales.

Who can the Dragon Innovation Partnership help?

The Dragon Innovation Partnership is able to support businesses, organisations and individuals throughout South West Wales.

Partners

The Dragon Innovation Partnership is part funded by the Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW) and receives significant direct funding to support, promote and develop relationships with external groups.

It aligns with the larger South West Wales Higher Education Partnership (SWWHEP) project between Swansea Metropolitan University, Swansea University, and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. The two projects are united in their aim to promote collaborative working between the three partners.

At Trinity Saint David, the Dragon Innovation Partnership is run by the Research and Development office.
