Skills Development
A number of our programmes offer the opportunity for skills development, particularly for small businesses and organisations.
The skills development programmes are either heavily subsidised or fully funded, and offer a range of opportunities from half day subjects based workshops through to professional certificate courses and even an MBA.
High Performance Working Network
This is a pan-Wales approach to identify and develop the leadership and management high level skills needs of micro, small and medium sized companies.

This project provides fully funded 15 credit modules that allows a learner to claim up to two thirds of a qualification for prior experiential learning.
Mentoring Our Workforce
This project provides a fully funded 20 credit module available through the medium of Welsh and English. The module enables the learner to implement a well researched mentoring process suitable to the needs of the company.
Access to Taught Master
The project provides support for and the provision of postgraduate level skills to meet identified gaps, to support knowledge economy and increase productivity.
This is an Early Years Training Programme established under the auspices of the Welsh Government and the policy document Iaith Pawb. It provides training of 150 Level 4 candidates in Welsh and Bilingual Practice in the Early Years Education.
Prosiect Gloywi Iaith
In partnership with other Welsh Universities the project aims to improve the quality of written and spoken Welsh amongst 7-14 year olds.
Cynllun Sabothol
Welsh Language programmes for Teachers. This scheme focuses on the delivery of a sabbatical programme for Welsh speaking teachers who wish to improve their Welsh language skills and also offers an intensive Welsh language programme for teachers who already have a grasp of the language.
