The project is developing heritage tourism activities in order to support local business, to diversify the local economy and to promote community cohesion and environmental sustainability focussed on Strata Florida.

ShipShape 3D Communities

The "ShipShape" project is explore the potential of advanced heritage interpretation employing 'multi-touch' technologies and 3D digital modelling. While it is focussed on excavation and display of the Newport Ship we would be interested in working on advanced visualisation with all other sectors of the heritage and creative industries.

Intellectual Property and Informed Consent: Partnerships and Participation

The project is exploring issues of intellectual property rights pertaining to cross-institutional research within the Higher Education sector and between university and heritage organisations.

HERCULES

This project provides the opportunity to work with communities in Carmarthenshire and Waterford to capture the sense of place of the Wales - Ireland region through the development of an online community with a live, shared, insight into the region
